GOT7 Grazia Magazine December Issue 2014

GOT7 recently had a winter-wear pictorial and interview for Gracia’s December issue. To my complete and utter surprise, Bambam stole my heart with his love and knowledge of Saint Laurent, fashion trends and runway shows. He literally said this: “I always watch fashion week videos. I also tend to visit Saint Laurent’s homepage quite often. This season there was a strong leather influence, but the 2012 or 2013 style is better than that. However, this season you couldn’t miss buying a red jacket.”

oh

He’s me!!! If I were a prepubescent male idol who could actually dance and work multi-colored highlights without looking like a melting Popsicle. I always thought I might be more of a T.O.P, but he’s my “ideal type” so it would come off as a little self-centered. By the way, when I hear Bambam, this is all I think about:

Bamm Bamm smash!

I’m not even that old but I feel ancient! Anyone else remember watching the Flintstones when they were younger? No? Just me? Okay…

So back to the GOT7 interview. The members discuss their dorm life, shopping style, and fashion. Bambam’s interview highlights are below!

Bambam’s Interview:

1.) I am…Very bright when with other people, don’t reveal a sad face. It’s sometimes hard to adjust yourself to others, but I think it’s the right thing to do.

2.) The things that changed since debut…I grew around 3 cm. I think I hit puberty. My voice also broke, so it’s somewhat changed since our debut. Lately, when I try to sing our debut songs, the notes are too high, I can’t reach them. Also, body hair grew too (laughs).

3.) To me fashion is…Everything. I especially like Saint Laurent. I think that all the money I make goes there. It’s the truth that the fans know too. Saint Laurent is really really expensive, so I asked the fans not to give me that kind of presents. I’m so thankful for the ice-cream and cookies alone. Once a representative of the Korean Saint Laurent branch came to our showcase. Saying that they saw me wear Saint Laurent often, he left after giving me his card. I liked that. I don’t know when, but I’d really like to go to a fashion week someday.

4.) Fashion data comes from…I always watch fashion week videos. I also tend to visit Saint Laurent’s homepage quite often. This season there was a strong leather influence, but the 2012 or 2013 style is better than that. However, this season you couldn’t miss buying a red jacket. I wore it only for a few times, but it catches your eye so much, the others think that’s the only thing I wear. I mean, I wore the black suit from the 2013’s collection far more often.

5.) Aside from being a singer, you would like to be…I want to open a Thai restaurant in Korea. Because my mother runs a Korean restaurant in Thailand.

6.) A Thai restaurant you go often to…I can’t go often. After all, Thai food tastes different in Korea. Instead of that, the fans prepare quite a lot. If I were to run a Thai restaurant, I would start bringing in the vegetables on-site.

7.) The thing I take with me abroad is…Earphones, sun cream, especially iPad. I really like talking with fans through Instagram and Twitter. My nickname is Fan Service King.

8.) Your popularity in Thailand…We expected to see around 3000 fans during our fan meeting in Thailand, but 8000 people came. We held it in a movie theater, but all people couldn’t go in. The people who comment on my Instagram are mostly Thai too. I think it’s like a support between the people of the same country.

9.) As a minor, you are jealous of adult members when…I have to drink cola instead of alcohol during company dinners. I don’t want to drink alcohol; it feels like I don’t belong there because I’m a minor. I want to become an adult as soon as possible, but I want to stop at 21.
